Winter Wonderland?

Ok, well maybe not a winter wonderland, but it did snow for the first time a few days ago! Of course, everyone here freaked out before it happened and the schools all closed and the stores ran out of milk and bread (????). And all we got was a sprinkling of snow that melted that afternoon. I drove to work that day at rush hour and the roads were empty. Most people were encouraged to stay home from work! How amusing. However, it was the first time Calvin had ever seen snow, and was very reluctant to move off the back porch onto the grass!
This is Cory's bonsai tree. Even it can handle the snow better than Calvin! Then we decided to take Calvin for a walk at the park in the snow. It was colder than usual but Calvin didn't seem to notice! We did make sure to warm him up and dry him off in the car on the way home so he didn't freeze!
