Mostly, I just wanted to post updated pics of our baby girl.
Sophie after cutting her finger on Cory's guitar that he carelessly let her reach out and grab, thus leaving bloody marks all it! Note the awesome Hello Kitty band-aid on her finger. That lasted about 9 seconds before she became obsessed with it and tried to eat it, so we took it off.

Sophie is obsessed with her new blue ball. She tries to eat it often. As you can see in the picture, she grabs hold with all 4 limbs and won't let go, even when you pick her up!

Great-grandma (GGma) came to visit! She and Sophie had a great time together. GGma bought Sophie a rocking bouncy horse that she can't quite hold on to yet, but she'll get there!
Sophie is now 5 days away from 8 months old (!!!!) and she says "mama" and "dada" and "bababababababababababa", although I'm sure she doesn't know what they mean yet, the latter having so many meanings she couldn't possibly learn them all. She can turn 360 degrees and crawl.... backwards....at least she's moving! She's getting real close to crawling forward, and once that happens, I will probably be wishing to the Baby Gods that she never learned how. She'll end up with one of Calvin's bones in her mouth at some point.
