ABCs

Yep, my 18 month old know her alphabet. And we didn't even push it on her, she did it herself! We have a fridge magnet toy with all the letters that she plays with all the time. Plus she loves the show Super Why which teaches the alphabet. So we can attribute her smarts to TV. Way to go, TV! We bought an alphabet wooden puzzle that is now her favorite toy, and she can put the letters where they go all by herself! It's amazing how quick she learns. AND she just put a crayon to paper for the first time on Sunday in Nursery. WOW. Stop growing up so fast!

And I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but she knows how to navigate my itouch...she can swipe through the apps and choose the one she wants, find the photos and music and play videos. Yikes. Oh, and she says "ah-poh" for "ipod". Yes, one of her first words is ipod. Go figure! But she says a lot of other words too: most of the letters (she can't say f, v, j, h, l, n, q, x, z) down, toe, puppy, flower, water, eye, ear, nose, blankie, banana, berry...more I can't think of.We just bought a new camera and Cory participated in a Mud Run race on Saturday so we'll have pics of that soon. It was an interesting race!

Wow! That's pretty amazing. And so is TV. Good job over there, Quinlans!
