The traveling actually went pretty well! Even with our feisty Sienna. Sophie is easy, we don't have to worry about her anymore. But the layovers were in Detroit, which has a very nice airport. It has this cool walkway between terminals that changes colors and has freaky psychadelic lights and such. And it had one of those water fountains where the water jumps from place to place. The girls liked that a lot.
The weather was SNOW SNOW SNOW in Detroit and Utah but we didn't have any delays or cancellations until coming home to Greensboro from Detroit, and that was just a short delay on the plane waiting for our wings to get de-iced. So all in all, the traveling was good. Plus, Sophie got to sit in the pilot's chair and type her name in their fancy computer console, and get one of those flying pins, so she is now an official honorary pilot.
We had a great time in Utah! It was so great to see and spend time with all the siblings and nieces and nephews, Sophie had so much fun with all of her cousins, I barely saw her. It made us almost think about possibly contemplating the thought of considering entertaining the idea of maybe moving out to Utah. Almost. We really do miss those gorgeous mountains and all the stuff to do there.
Sophie and Cory went tubing while I stayed with Sienna. We went to Cory's dad's big birthday bash, took family photos out in the snow, visited our school BYU, ate food at various delicious restaurants, and kicked back with the fam. A great trip, I have to say.
