Now that I am back in the full time work force, I have been neglecting our blog! After Christmas, Cory's parents came down to visit us! We had a great time with them. During the times that we were at work they would entertain themselves and then on Saturday we all went up to Grandfather mountain and went across the mile-high swinging bridge. It was incredibly foggy that day so we didn't get to see much up there!
I am enjoying my new job in cancer research at Wake Forest. This is a picture of the Baptist Medical Center campus where I go everyday. In the background is downtown Winston-Salem.
We have, however, found time to paint our bedroom--the walls are still bare and need pictures! The house is slowly moving along in terms of decorating. Now we only have 5 rooms left! (I'm looking on the bright side)
This month was also my birthday. Cory, being the sweet loving husband that he is, bought me roses and baked me a cake in a kitchen at the hospital where he works, and it was delicious! We ate out at an Italian restaurant that evening. Time sure is flying by, I'm creeping closer and closer to 30!
