We had a dramatic change to our front yard landscape this week...we removed the tree from the front yard. For all you tree-huggers out there, just know that I was very upset about it, and we only did it because it was diseased. Below is a picture of the house with the tree before it started to die.
Then the tree started to look like it was in some horror movie and was dying before our eyes! The leaves and berries wouldn't fall off the tree in the Fall, and they just rotted away on their branches. We had a "tree guy" come out and he told us it was diseased. So we removed it.
And this is what it looks like now...I think it makes the house look nicer, and the front yard bigger. We are definitely going to plant another tree in it's place though, and it'll be small so it won't hide the house. Poor tree!
