October, where did you go?

October was taken over by illness. Sophie got sick with a cold and has been coughing with runny nose and congestion for 2 weeks, then she got a bad fever a few days ago and we found out she has an ear infection which she is now recovering from. Then Sienna got sick and my poor baby is now coughing really bad. Needless to say neither of them has slept for the last 2 weeks and thus, neither have we!  And to top it off, now I am sick! Cory never gets sick, it's not fair! Although thank goodness for that because then he can take care of all of us when he is home! hee hee.

We did manage to go to a pumpkin patch earlier this month and Sophie got some school pictures taken. Here are the proofs! Ain't she sweet!



Sophie has decided to be a princess for halloween.  Talk about cliches!  She's never been really into princesses or dress up or anything and we certainly didn't push it so we don't know where she got that notion, but, well, there it is. Hopefully we will all be better so we can take her out for Halloween next week and get some pictures of her costume!

Sienna did turn 5 months old earlier this month. Here is her official mug shot:

We tried to start solid foods this month but she still has the tongue thrust reflex so we got nowhere.  Every bite of food was promptly pushed back out of the mouth!  We'll try again in a couple weeks.

And I've been preparing for Sophie's 3rd birthday next month! WOW! I can't believe she'll be 3. And here are some just general cuteness pictures. Until next time!
