It was Cory's 28th birthday last Thursday and it was just the two of us to celebrate. I woke up at 6:30am (which, to those who know me, is a fantastic feat in and of itself) to make Cory breakfast. We did the traditional birthday cake and presents in the evening. Cory had finished off a whole sheet cake the week before, so I decided to buy a baby cake, since he already filled his quota for the month!
Cory's big birthday present from his parents and me was tickets to the Carolina Panthers vs New Orleans Saints NFL game this weekend. It was in Charlotte, NC, which was about 1 1/2 hrs away. The game was close at times, but we are confident that it was our continued support and screaming that made the Panthers VICTORIOUS!!

Happy Birthday Cory! Wish we could have been there screaming right along with you! (We really don't care who won, but it would have been fun to be with you) So.... you're how old now?! Whew! That's ancient!
