We're moving!

So the last few weeks have been a blur of getting our house ready to sell, and looking at houses to buy. One week after being put on the market, someone bought our house!! Mind you, we haven't closed yet, so it's technically just "under contract," so we just have to hope the home inspections go well and wait until October 29th until the house is officially sold. YIPPEE!

AND!

We bought a new house! We put in an offer on a house a couple days ago, and after some ridiculous counter offers by the sellers we finally agreed on a price and we officially have a contract! We close the same day we close on our house, so October 29th will be a busy day.

Our new house is literally about a mile away. Funny. We like the location we are in, it's very convenient to everything, but the new house is in a nicer neighborhood though, perfect for us and our growing family.

Now for some details. It is 2200 square feet, has a basement 2 car garage, 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and a fully finished walk-out basement. That's the best part of the house. Sophie has a lot of room to play and we'll have a large living space in the basement. That's also where the 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom is. The master bedroom has a jetted tub. YES! My favorite part of the new house. Can't wait! The backyard isn't that big, but it is nicely landscaped, and we have to fence it in for the dog, but that's not a big deal. And it's located on a cul-de-sac so no traffic!

The front is not spectacular looking but the inside is AWESOME. Very well maintained and clean and updated with new fixtures and solid surface countertop.
