Christmas was great! Good times, great company. Sophie was so lucky, Santa came twice for her this year! She got two Christmas mornings, one on Christmas Eve morning with just the family (us) where she opened the bulk of her gifts, and one on actual Christmas morning with all our visitors, Grammie and Grampie Quinlan, and Cory's brother's family with 3 boys.
Christmas festivities began with Sophie decorating a picture frame for Grammie for Christmas:
A few days before Christmas we made mini gingerbread houses. One per day. Of course, all Sophie did was eat the icing and candy off the house.
We also made gingerbread cookies!
Here is Sophie opening her 2 stockings for Christmas. Can we say, spoiled?
Gifts under the Christmas tree before we dove in:
Sophie's new Tinkerbell PJs from Santa:
Sienna chewing open one of her presents:
Cory's family has the tradition of taking a picture of all the loot. Good way to remember what you got! So here's Sophie's loot:
And here is Sienna, mommy and daddy's loot:
After we opened presents on Christmas morning #1, all the family arrived! It was great to see everyone. Here is Cory's brother Chris and his wife Jen on Christmas morning #2:
Grammie and Grampie Quinlan opening some gifts (by the way, the paper star hanging in the background was made out of sheet music paper, created by the one and only Cory Quinlan):
Picture of the cousins all together! The boys were SO good with Sophie she LOVED playing with them!
Picture of our family and Chris' family. We are trying to recruit them to move here to NC to be closer to us...don't know if it's working or not! :)
And just for fun, Sienna's cute cute cute pigtails. Her hair is again in her eyes and in need of a trim...that would be trim #4 at 7 months old. I think instead we'll just put stuff in her hair to keep it out of her eyes and let it grow!
And finally, the CUTEST picture known to man, my darling offspring, Sophie and Sienna.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
