Race Day

This morning we went to Tanglewood Park for a 5K run, the Law Enforcement Memorial 5K Run. I (Cory) haven't run in a race is almost two years, and I felt it was time to get back into the swing of things. So, we packed up Sophie and her paraphernalia, woke Sarah up earlier than is safe, and trekked down to the race. I ran with a friend from church, and we had a pretty good showing - in fact, we have proof. To see me cross the finish line, click here.

This news clip, like all in the liberal media, misrepresents the facts: Jeff (the friend I ran with) and I finished before the guys in yellow shirts, not after. Sarah and Sophie also appear in this video clip. At 1:04 you can see Sophie's red stroller in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then at 1:09 you get a brief glimpse of Sarah's elbow from behind the woman talking to the reporter. So, basically, we're all famous now! (elbows and all)

Here's some good shots from the event (Sarah is the photographer in these shots of course):

Congrats on finishing your race BEFORE the guys in the yellow shirts. Man, the spin the media puts on these things is shameful.
